Some opportunities for after graduation include:

Graduate Studies

Admission requirements for graduate programs will vary depending on the program and institution you are interested in. If there is a particular program that you are interested in, it is best to contact the institution and department that offers the program, to find out what they require.

Students interested in Graduate Study Opportunities can find more information through Graduate Studies [1]. Students can investigate OAC's graduate programs [2] on the OAC website.

Professional Programs

Students graduating with the B.Sc.(Agr.) degree have the option of exploring the following Professional Programs:

  • Veterinary college
  • Medicine
  • Law
  • Education
  • Naturopathic Medicine
  • Pharmacy

Some of these programs require applicants to take standardized tests. Please see below for more information about applications and tests.

Applications [3]

The Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) [3] provides information about Ontario schools, the programs they offer, and the applications required.

MCAT [4]

Students interested in applying to medical schools or some veterinary medicine schools will be required to take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) [4].

LSAC [5]

More information about law school applications and requirements can be found on the Law School Admission Council website [5].

TEAS [6]

Teacher Education Application information is offered through the OUAC website. [6]

Post Graduate Certificates

The ONTransfer [7] website offers opportunities to expand your education.

This website is provided by the Ontario Agriculture College for BBRM, BLA, B.Sc. (Agr.), BIESP, B.Sc. (Env.) and DTM students to answer program related questions and help navigate program requirements, University policies and regulations necessary to succeed during your time of study.
