We would like to try something new to accommodate the high volume of appointment requests we typically see during the start of September. We are temporarily offering same day meetings booked via Microsoft Teams. Melinda will be available for virtual “drop-in” from August 25th to September 18th. Carie will be available for virtual “drop-in” from August 31st to September 18th.
To meet with your Program Counsellor:
- Log on to Microsoft Teams and send a chat message to Ellen Clarkson (clarksoe@uoguelph.ca [1]) to sign up for the next available 15 minute “drop in” time. Connect with Ellen when you have time in case there is a wait! We do not want you to miss classes.
- Ellen is available on Microsoft Teams to help sign you up for “drop in” from 9am-4pm Monday to Thursday (unavailable 12pm-1pm for lunch) and from 9am-12pm on Friday.
- To start a chat with Ellen, click on the icon that looks like a pen and paper to the left of the “Search” bar on your Microsoft Teams screen, and type Ellen Clarkson (clarksoe@uoguelph.ca [1]). In your message, include your first and last name, student ID, your current program, and the reason you are requesting a meeting.
Your meeting will be audio only unless otherwise requested.
If you have a question that can wait until after the last day to add, please wait - we need to focus this time on students who need to get into courses for the fall term.
After September 18th we will go back to booking appointments through email with Ellen during the hours of 10am-3pm Mondays to Thursdays and 10am-12pm Fridays.
