B.B.R.M. Supplemental Information for Your Schedule of Studies

2024-2025 [1] 2023-2024 [2] 2022-2023 [3] 2021-2022 [4] 2020-2021 [5] 2019-2020 [6] 2018-2019 [7] 2017-2018 [8] 2016-2017 [9]

In order to find out what courses are required for graduation, you must refer to the Academic Calendars to read your Schedule of Studies and program requirements. You must follow the Schedule of Studies (i.e. the list of courses required for your program as well as any other specialization requirements) outlined in your Calendar Year. You can find your Calendar Year on My Progress on the Student Planning system through WebAdvisor; it is listed as “Calendar” (for example, if your Calendar is “2019” your Calendar Year is 2019-2020).

It is recommended that you use your Schedule of Studies and My progress to assess what courses you still have left to complete for your program. If you have any questions about your program requirements, please ask your Program Counsellor for assistance.

Changes to Course Offerings

Changes are sometimes made to course offerings. Notes about how these changes affect your Schedule of Studies for your Calendar Year have been made according to Calendar Year in the right side menu. These lists should be used as a guide along with the listserv emails sent by your Program Counsellor and consultations with your Faculty Advisor. Check back often for updates.

Use the current Undergraduate Calendar [10] to look at current course descriptions, policies and dates.

Please note that individually approved restricted elective substitutions or course exemptions will not be noted on this webpage; you must get individual agreements in writing with your Program Counsellor and Faculty Advisor.

Other Changes to Course Offerings

Other course changes not directly affecting core courses can be found on the websites below:

B.Sc. Advising [11]

B.Comm Advising [12]

Please note that these websites are only posted here to help you find courses that have changed outside of the B.B.R.M. degree program. Any course substitutions noted on these sites that are different than those listed in the links above are not approved for the B.B.R.M. degree program.

Information About Applying to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Program

Students interested in applying to the DVM program at the University of Guelph should carefully read and understand the admissions requirements for DVM [13]. Students seeking advice from the Program Counsellor should indicate their future plans when discussing courses so advice can be built around the admission requirements as well as the degree program.

Students following the 2012-2013 Undergraduate Calendar and beyond should refer to the information in the right side menu about how DVM requirements fit with the B.B.R.M. degree when planning out your degree requirements as well as admission requirements.
