We would like to try something new to accommodate the high volume of appointment requests we typically see during the start of September. We are temporarily offering same day meetings booked via Microsoft Teams. Melinda will be available for virtual “drop-in” from August 25th to September 18th.
Please be advised that Melinda, Carie and Ellen will be taking vacation at various times throughout August. It will be important to pay close attention to any bounce-back messages you receive during this time, as they will provide details about our office’s availability.
Please be advised the last day to drop (12-week) summer 2020 courses is Friday July 31st.
Students in BBRM-EM and B.Sc.(Env.) - please note that additional space in ENVS 1030 will be opening soon, hopefully this afternoon!
The Fall schedule will be up on WebAdvisor on July 8th (tomorrow). Course selection for Fall will begin July 14th. Course selection will open in windows based on certain criteria. Windows are posted here: https://www.uoguelph.ca/registrar/courseselectionwindow
As per the University closure on July 2nd and 3rd, our office will be closed and will reopen on July 6th. Please also note that July 1st is a Holiday.
Please be advised of the following changes to meeting with Program Counsellors:
We will continue to respond to email but have also worked on a way for you to book an audio or video appointment for those who prefer a meeting. As students, you have access to Microsoft Teams through your Gryph Mail by clicking on the icon beside Outlook in the top left of your mailbox. The icon is a square made up of nine dots. We will use this platform to meet.
Effective March 17th, all U of G employees have been asked to work from home. This means that the OAC Program Counselling Office will be adjusting the way we operate to comply with the recommendations for social distancing and limiting the spread of illness.
Please Note: We will only be available via e-mail until further notice. We do not have access to student files and so there may be limitations to what we can assist with, but we will work closely with you to determine your needs.
At this time, the OAC Program Counselling Office is only accepting email and phone inquiries. Your program counsellor will be available to support you during regular office hours, but the office doors will be closed. Please contact x54800 to book a phone appointment.
