If you have questions about any of the four majors or need more information before making your decision, please contact the appropriate Faculty Advisor.
If you are ready to declare your major, come to one of Carie's Drop In times between now and the end of W20 semester to complete the paperwork.
Carie's Drop In times for this semester are Wednesdays from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm and Thursdays from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
All first year students are invited to join faculty advisors from all three majors to learn more about each major and the process of declaring your major.
This event will be held from 4:30pm-5:20pm Wednesday, January 29th in Peter Clark Hall (in the basement of the University Centre; one of the side wings – 001B). Information about how to declare your major will be covered at the start of the meeting, so please plan to be there for 4:30pm.
Our Library's Learning Services offers appointments and support for students looking to improve their skills in time management, effective studying, writing a thesis or major paper or capstone project. The services are free and the feedback you'll receive could make a huge difference.
For those of you who are going to complete your courses in April, you need to apply to graduate by February 14th, 2020 to avoid a late penalty. You would have already received an email from the Registrar’s Office with instructions if you will complete 20.00 credits this semester. Once you apply to graduate, no news is good news. Once I receive applications to graduate, I will contact you only if I see a problem or require more information from you.
