Melinda (B.Sc.(Agr.), BBRM, BLA) and Carie (B.Sc.(Env.), BIESP, DTM) have drop in times available during semester start up (until September 12 - the last day to add courses).

Students are seen in the order they arrive and sign in. Our office is in Johnston Hall Room 133A; the sign in sheet is available 10-15 minutes before drop in starts.

If you are unable to complete a final exam or any final assignment for the S25 semester due to medical, psychological or compassionate circumstances, you must submit a request for deferred assessment via email to your program counsellor from your @uoguelph.ca email address. This is a reminder that the last day to drop 12-week format Summer 2025 courses is this Friday, August 1st.

If you would like to discuss your decison to drop with your Academic Advisor, please email oac.pco@uoguelph.ca to schedule a meeting. 

First year students in B.Sc.(Agr.), B.Sc.(Env.), and B.I.E.S.P., you will see that MATH 1080 currently has waitlists on all sections for the Fall. If you are on a waitlist, the waitlists are being reviewed every day, so please keep checking your uoguelph email daily for spots as they become available. 

Welcome new students! If you are a B.Sc.(Agr.), B.B.R.M., B.Sc.(Env.), B.I.E.S.P., or D.T.M. student, your course selection window will open on Friday, July 11th at 8:00am EDT. 

We recommend that you register for your courses as soon as possible. Desired sections may fill up quickly. If the section that you want fills up, it is better to enroll in another section that works for your schedule instead of joining a waitlist. If you join a waitlist, there is no guarantee that you will get into the course, even if it is a required course. 

First year Environmental Management majors, you will see that MGMT 2150 is full for the Fall. There is space in the Winter option of MGMT 2150, so I recommend you do swap and take MGMT 2150 in the Winter and HROB 2090 in the Fall. 

First Year Bachelor of Landscape Architecture students! 

Be aware that many first year courses will have restrictions. Check the restrictions page for a full list.

Note this does include ANTH 1150, SOC 1100, PSYC 1000 and PHIL 1010 (we should be in the next wave of restriction removal!). 

It is frustrating to wait for courses, but we are trying to make sure students who need specific courses are able to get them this year (no one else can pick LARC 1100 or LARC 1950!).
